We are proud to again be hosting the Summerset National Fours and Mixed Pairs in February/March 2023.
You may have been following the Bowls New Zealand Summerset Nationals in Auckland, which concluded in January. Over the eight day period many hundreds of participants played across multiple venues in Auckland, requiring hundreds of officials and support staff, and followed by hundreds more supporters and spectators.
In February the show hits our doorstep, when the National Fours and Mixed Pairs is staged in Central Otago, attracting the best bowlers in the country. This is a great honour for the region. Entries are up considerably on previous years with over 1200 bowlers entered into the various disciplines. Alexandra Bowling Club will be the host Club, with games on all eight days including the finals. Play will also be live-streamed on YouTube and the Sky Pop up channel.

Food and drink
For the full 8 day duration we will have the following available on-site:
- Coffee van parked on the premises providing the full range of hot drinks
- Café facility available in the Hall, providing sandwiches, pies etc
- BBQ providing hot sausages and burgers
- A full bar providing soft drinks and alcoholic beverages
